NY Firefighters Save Small Child Trapped Inside Burning House

Wind fueled the flames of an aggressive two-alarm fire that broke out at a Syracuse home, collapsing the structure's roof and spreading to a neighboring house.

New York firefighters saved a small child trapped inside a burning house Tuesday.

An aggressive fire broke out at about 2:30 p.m. at a Syracuse home, WSYR-TV reports. Flames were fueled by wind, collapsing the roof of the residence and spread to a nearby house.

Firefighters were able to rescue a young child who was inside the home at the time of the fire. Crews were able to get other residents out of the house, as well.
